Risk - Higher risk settings can decrease your lap but it can also increase your chances of making errors and even bringing out the yellow.
Usage - Lower settings will conserve your fuel or tires but slow you lap times down. Higher settings will use more fuel or tires, provide faster lap times, but tires will fad sooner and fuel will run out faster.
Pitting - Pit Times - Higher settings will provide faster pit stops but a greater chance of error making the overall time slower.
Pitting - Track Position - Higher settings allow the driver to gamble and stay out for the bonus point of leading a lap or enhance track position.
Adjustments - 1 magic number exists for all of the adjustments - find it and you will find speed. However stray to far from the target your car turns into 'junk'. Many NASCAR driver expierence this problem during the race. Choose wisely and you could decrease your lap times for a big chunk of the race.
