The results are in for Race 14 at Pocono. I had to do some more testing tonight but have the race adjustment settings you use in your race strategy working nice and fair. At least to me they look good. A5 you are still on standby until next Monday…

Let me explain the same info can be found in our FAQ. There is one main target adjustment value per race. Tonight the value was 62. Basically if you are within 15 points 47-77 (a 30 point range) your car will improve at that part of the race. Yes it’s that dramatic at lap 50, 100, 150 you become a hair faster – consider it the sun went behind the cloud But this opens up a ton of new ideas for pitting. Like when pitting you can make adjustments to improve your car but slow you down a bit…interesting decisions, I’ll work those out later.

Now if you were outside the range of 47-77 your race rating drops a little. Everything is linear right now except if you nail the setting exactly and you get a bonus for that part of the race. Also I have a cap on how crappy or great it can make the car – if you selected 62-62-62 I’m not moving your rating from 100 to 99 to 98 to 97 where you are 3% faster than everyone else. Rather I have caps and floors…

I will continue to make enhancements and improve the game. I have lots of stuff to work on. I really want to tackle damage next.

Group A4 have been emailed to apologize for an error on their group which did not allow them to practice. I think I have fixed the issue. It looks okay to me, but I have asked them to try again.

Races as stated yesterday will happen around 11pm to midnight, maybe a little past midnight.

Race Strategy Adjustments – some of you are concerned about this, don’t be yet – they are not tuned on but will be soon.

Race 9 – Talladega Superspeedway is tomorrow.

Quick Tip may not do this every time and it may be worth nothing to some of you who are finished — Weight and TrackBar are very high for Talladega.

Okay I was a little busy tonight. I thought it would be best to just catch group A2 back up to A1. I need it for testing anyhow to see if this will cause problems. Some of you A1 guys are thinking what happened to race 5 – well I did it last night but didn’t want to spam you guys. However, I’m thinking, unless I get a bunch of folks upset, I may just send an update after the races are done.

A3 guys – I am working on a strategy to get you guys running asap. It may include ghost drivers until we reach a nice mass of oh I don’t know 100 new drivers a day Until then I need to try a couple of things, but soon, very soon, i will get you in the game. Keep qualifying and I will amke sure I get you results going back to the first race.

As for letting folks do new races, not yet – I need to hold off until I get A3 settled in on a strategy.
