Team Preview: 1Up/Bailey Motorsports
Behind X2X, 1Up/Bailey Motorsports is the oldest team in Nasrac. As Bailey Motorsports the team was formed in season 1 and 1Up Motorsports was formed in season 2. The teams have been merged since Season 9 and won the AAA championship in Season 9 with Flash. Tim Reeve made the move to 1Up/Bailey last season after he announced he was leaving leadership at X2X and took over as primary leader of 1Up/Bailey along with Giants02122 and Joffrey Gaetz.
Q&A
With all the offseason changes, how will they effect your team?
I don’t think any of them will have any major affect on the team. The loss of Redline as a partnered team is unfortunate but I don’t beleive that it will affect the performance of 1UBM. We have alot of talented drivers, we’ll be fine.
What are your predictions for your team this year?
I’m not going to make any big predictions for this season, I only came into the team midway through last season and we have improved. I don’t know how much of a contender we will be in AAA but I think we’ll do pretty good in AA and A. I feel like we have the drivers and alot of the setups we need its all about getting everyone functioning as one team and we are making progress every day.
Any drivers on your team you think will have a big year?
I don’t know if there’s any one driver I’ll point out but I think we have several drivers who struggled in AAA last season and will be back in AA and several drivers that are coming up from A that should do well. In AAA I think maybe SimonDeVerde can come back and have a strong season 12.
Who’s your biggest competitor this season?
X2X Motorsports hands down. That team is always strong but being only a half season removed from the team I feel that maybe we have a decent shot at running somewhat with them. Bupp Enterprises only gets stronger and stronger aswell so they are right up there too.
What’s your biggest concern going into this season?
I guess my biggest concern is getting all the drivers on my team to work together and function as one, but like I said we make progress on it everyday and I don’t beleive that it will pose much of an issue.
