Team Preview: OcW Racing

OcW Racing has been a team in Nasrac since season 10. It’s owner Jeremy Alsop also came out of Bupp Enterprises, and previously X2X Motorsports before starting his own team that is one of the smaller teams in Nasrac that keeps on fighting. As the team continues to grow it only becomes stronger winning races and eventually championships.

Q&A

With all the offseason changes, how will they effect your team?

The off-season changes are most likely not going to affect OcW Racing that much. We are still a very new team and are in a better place to adjust to any change, whether it be off-season or during the season. If anything, the changes made will only help OcW Racing become a force in Nasrac.

What are your predictions for your team this year?

Not so much predictions but expectations is the word I’m going to use. The first two seasons, I haven’t expected much from the team since we were new and still finding our way in the Nasrac world. Despite still trying to find our way around we have the settings and ability to out do Season 11, therefore I am expecting several of my drivers to get into the chase, whether it be AAA or A. I’m also expecting the team to break into the Top 3 in the Team Challenge, and we do have the fire power to do it.

Any drivers on your team you think will have a big year?

There are definitely three drivers that I am expecting to have a good season. MemphisRaines, Zach Coleman and Hendrick are all due a Very Good Season. Hendrick had moments last season and most likely will be right up there all next season. Both MemphisRaines and Zach Coleman are Nasrac Veterans and both know that it is now or never for them to get that elusive title. For too long we have depended on Kiwi Icon and Scott Dixon to give our team a fighting spirit and with the recent departure of Dixon, every driver now needs to step up and say “I’m the man”.

Who’s your biggest competitor this season?

Our Biggest Competitor will most likely be 1Up/Bailey Motorsports. 1Up/Bailey Motorsports have always been a mediocre team the past few seasons and now with Tim Reeve there, they might do better. This season, I expect to be right there with 1Up/Bailey and giving them one heck of a time.

What’s your biggest concern going into this season?

At this stage, I have no concerns about my team. The team is coming together nicely, we have made some good signings thus far and will be looking at bolstering our team up with some more. My main concern is to do with Redline Motorsports, who have 1Up/Bailey Motorsports co-leader Giants licking his lips at the prospect of Kyle-rowdy-Busch failing as the leader and taking control of it again. I for one believe that Kyle will not fail this time and make Redline a much better team than it was before under Giants leadership.
