Nascar Group A-1 Race 1, 2 and 3
Race 1, 2 and 3 is complete for Group A-1. To see what group you are in go to the Nascar Drivers Page
Anyone can view the results so try this:
Select our latest A-1 driver “CrazyRob” and it will bring you to his results page. You can see his stats: Rank, Starts, Avg Start, Avg Finish, Points, Behind, Poles, Wins, Top 5 , Top 10, plus how he did at each race.
If you are in Group A-2, you won’t see any other data yet. Two reasons. One, the code looks at who you are and your Group and forces that info on you so you can only see A-2 right now ( I will fix this soon). Two, I haven’t run you races yet. This is good because I need to test out the code when a driver misses a race and A-2 will be perfect for this since not everyone participated after race 1.
Now if you are in A-1 you will be able to select the race and see all the race results and view your lap by lap progress. You can select Race Results and select which race you want to look at or you can select Standings which will jump you to the standings after the 3rd race – you can go back to race 1 or 2 to see where you stood and your points at that point in time. You can view others lap by lap or just select that driver to see his overall stats.
I want you all to know that I will be resetting this data and running the races again in another day or so, but please look it over. I know we have lots of things to do like color code the lap by lap results fro when the caution is out – now it only says flag type 1. i also want a lap by lap with everyone sort of like the Nascar pitpass but we will get to that. You know I can make a pretty interface, but for now let me concentrate on the meat of the game.
Also, the only race strategy in affect here on these races is tire strategy, fuel and pit stop risk. i have not implemented the 1/4 race adjustments and it’s too confusing to work on the master pit strategy (i.e. stay out to get the lead lap – that will be some work).
Anyhow, enjoy A-1 guys and A-2 guys don’t get frustrated your data will be coming soon. Now go get some of your friends to join up.
